Meet the Instructors
J.R. Martinson, Golf Pro
J.R. Grew up in Sun River, Montana & went to Simms High School. He started playing golf at age 14 & moved to Phoenix, AZ to attend the Golf Academy of America. Martinson Graduated in 2000 with a degree in Applied Business & his first position as Assistant Golf Pro was at Fiddlesticks Golf in Tempe, AZ. In 2004, Promoted to Director of Golf. Taught Private, Group, and clinics for the next 8 years. Dicks Sporting Goods Golf Pro/ certified fitter for the next 8 years. J.R. is also certified on Ping, Callaway, and Taylor Made.
Mark Montano
Mark Montano has been working at both golf courses the past four seasons and is an integral part of our junior golf program. He is currently working towards entering the PGA Associate Program.
Dan Rose, USGTF Certified instructor
Dan joined the team in 2022 and has worked exclusively with our junior golf programs. In January 2023, Dan completed his training with the United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) and will begin teaching private lessons this year as well as continuing to assist with junior camps and adult clinics.
